| The incidence of invasive fungal infections (IFIs) has increased remarkably in the last twenty years, and is associated with substantial morbidity and mortality among high-risk patients. The clinical course of IFIs is complex, and effective therapy critically depends on early diagnosis and timely and targeted treatment. The mission of MOVE on Mycoses is to provide all healthcare professionals who diagnose, treat, and manage patients who have, or are at risk for, IFIs with expanded resources for objective, up-to-date, and clinically relevant information about fungal infections. Through a large complement of interrelated educational activities, physicians, pharmacists, researchers, nurses, and students of medicine and pharmacy can stay abreast of the latest information about IFIs.
